About Me

                Nathan M. Baer is a current student enrolled at Western Carolina University studying Broadcasting within the Communication Department while minoring in Entrepreneurship. Nathan is employed by the University’s Communications & Marketing Department as a student videography intern and serves at The Bridge Church as the Director of Creative Marketing. Nathan's goal is to use his skills in creative marketing and his walk with Christ to connect with a local ministry and share the gospel around the world to those in need.

 

Nathan has been working in Live AVL Productions for 7 years starting at Carmel Baptist Church in his hometown. He volunteered weekly in the main worship chapel tech crew, and became the leader for the student backstage tech team. Nathan was also part of many other major productions connected with Carmel Baptist Church. Some include yearly Christmas-Eve Productions, Graduations, concerts, etc.

 

Nathan has been focusing on single camera videography for 4 years. He started by taking a Videography class in high school in his sophomore year. Wanting to learn more, he bought his first camera. He then started his own business recording weddings, athletic highlight videos, and other local events. Additionally, he filmed many videos for his church, filming testimonial videos, summer camp and retreat videos, and filming an overseas mission trip in Poland. Recently, he was awarded a certificate of excellence on a video he made for the WCU campus Police Department. Nathan enjoys the work he does and is passionate about his goals to serve others with the gifts that God has given him.
